| Welcome to Shiny Star |
 Our centre is located in the inner west suburb of South Strathfield, only a minutes walk from South Strathfield Station. It is central to all amenities such as cafes, supermarkets and schools. We are a large centre and cater for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. We are open 52 weeks a year, only closed on public holidays. Our opening hours are 6:30am-6:30pm. We have a before and after school service, with our own centre buses which are used for transporting the children to and from the three local schools. We also provide a vacation care program, which is full of fun activities and excursions during the school holiday period .We have a kitchen and cook on site that provides fresh delicious hot meals daily, including breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, which takes into consideration children's special dietary requirements and cultural needs. Our outdoor area is large and divided into 2 sections. This caters for the different needs and ages of the children. We are committed to celebrating families beliefs and traditions at the centre- such as Halloween, Thanks Giving, birthdays, Christmas and Diwali to name just a few. These celebrations are always an extended invitation to encourage family participation in the centre program. Parents are always welcome to contribute in the daily activities and program. |
